WEEK 4

In this series focusing on shift patterns and sleep, our expert will take you through some of the basics of sleep management for shift patterns, addressing common sleep myths as well as some practical takeaways for you to put these pieces into your own practice. Then we will take a deeper look at sleep hygiene and how that specifically applies to shift patterns, with the final part we will be looking at sleep and lifestyle while managing shift patterns.

This week we will talk about the relationship between diet & sleep, relationship between exercise & sleep. Healthy habits - making one small change and building on success. Take away challenge – most of us have an area we would like to address when we reflect on our diet and/or levels of exercise. Whether it’s just been a busy week and it’s been hard to prioritise your usual routine, or maybe you’re hoping to put in place a new healthy routine, whatever your goal there is content to support you meeting your goal (link to healthy recipes, fitness plans etc).
