Emotional First Aid

In pressurised work environments, emotional strain can build long before anyone notices the warning signs. So being able to spot the early signs and knowing how to respond to distress when it appears is vital. This seminar equips participants with practical, evidence-based skills to recognise emotional distress in themselves and others and respond constructively in the moment through using a structured approach to providing emotional support. These skills include, validation, active listening, boundary setting, responding effectively to distress and self-care. Emotional First Aid can help you take small steps to make big moments manageable.
